Project Description

Ittara is a styling collaboration for a rising sustainable luxury handbag startup founded by a collective of four visionary women from Haryana, India.

Every bag in the collection is made from 100% natural cork, a renewable, biodegradable material that brings a distinct earthy texture and visual warmth. From sourcing the raw cork to liaising with artisans and manufacturers, the seven founders are hands-on in every step of the journey, redefining what grassroots entrepreneurship looks like in the Indian luxury space.

The styling direction focused on organic luxury, elegant and minimal. Earthy tones, handcrafted textiles, and raw, natural elements were used to complement the cork’s texture and neutral palette. The aim was to visually communicate the brand’s ethos of sustainability, strength, and sisterhood, without overcomplicating the story.
